This season Hasbro and Lucasfilm, makers of the first ever Force FX Lightsabers, have partnered with Galatia Films in a promotion that saw many winners receive the new lightsabers. NY Jedi was on hand as well to demo the stunt ready sabers on Good Morning America. Galatia Films has been at the forefront of rediscovering the sword with its titular film “Reclaiming the Blade” and its consultation on Disney/ESPN’s “Evolution of the Lightsaber Duel”. This along with a crucial interview and friendship with Darth Vader stunt choreographer Bob Anderson, made this the perfect opportunity to promote the Star Wars franchise along with Galatia’s own work.

Lucasfilm. founded by filmmaker George Lucas in 1971, sold the much beloved company Disney in 2012 at a valuation of $4.06 billion.
