Monday will see the next chapter in the “Glastonbury” movie development as the team from Visit Somerset have been invited to join a meeting by, Motion Picture Capital’s, CEO, Leon Clarence in Soho, London, together with the Executive Producer Nuala Barton. Also invited along to the meeting will be the PR team from Visit England.
Daniel McNicoll the Writer and Producer on the project has said; “With Visit Somerset now meeting and partnering with the ‘Isle of Light’ executive producers, I think this opens a few more doors and allows us to really stake this project in the rich and fertile soil of Glastonbury.”
John Turner the Vice Chairman of the STA and Visit Somerset explains; “We are delighted to have been asked to this meeting, demonstrating how much commitment the producers are giving to Somerset and we will be extremely excited to be able to report back on all the developments and timescales. We feel that not only Somerset but the whole of the UK can benefit from this project and are therefore now working very closely with our colleagues from Visit England. The plan is to develop a wide ranging and strategic marketing/PR plan that can support the project and the County, we are delighted that Visit England have excepted our invite”
Once the meeting has been completed the Visit Somerset team will report back on the film developments to the media.
